Liloan, Cebu has 93 confirmed Covid-19 cases, 38 deaths and 519 recoveries as of 9 p.m. today, March 4, 2021

Liloan Covid-19 Operations Center: 11 new confirmed cases, one death and six recoveries today, March 4, 2021  

LILOAN COVID-19 OPERATIONS CENTER

UPDATE No. 353

As of 9:00 P.M., March 4, 2021, there are ZERO (0) Probable cases and FOUR (4) Suspected case of persons who have manifested influenza like symptoms such as fever, cough and sore throat.

There are 329 individuals who are identified as Persons Under Monitoring (PUMs), but these are not Covid-19 cases. A total of 7,297 persons have already completed their 14-day quarantine period without manifesting any of the symptoms of the virus.

GOOD NEWS: We have SIX (6) RECOVERIES from Covid-19 today.

Patient No. 551 is a 40-year old male from Purok Kalubihan, Brgy. Yati.

He is went to Consolacion and Danao City to secure requirements for work in Manila.

Patient No. 552 is a 26-year old male from Purok Gemilina, Brgy. Yati.

He is a chef of a restaurant in IT Park, Lahug ,Cebu City. He goes home daily to Liloan.

Patient No. 553 is a 29-year old female from Purok San Francisco 2, Brgy. Yati.

She is a housewife and has Peptic Ulcer. She was exposed to her husband who is a policeman and a contact tracer assigned in Consolacion, Cebu.

Patient No. 554 is a 21-year old female from Purok Petchay 2, Brgy. Catarman.

She is a call center agent in IT Park, Lahug , Cebu City. She goes home daily to Liloan. She was exposed to a positive officemate.

Patient No. 555 is a 37-year old male from Purok Tambis, Brgy. Jubay.

He is an engineering maintenance head of a company in Mandaue City and was exposed to a positive workmate.

Patient No. 556 is a 22-year old male from Purok Kawayan, Brgy. Tayud.

He is an on-call construction worker for a construction company in Tayud, Consolacion.

ALL of them have tested NEGATIVE of Covid-19 and will continue to be monitored until their full recovery.

We have ONE (1) DEATH related to Covid-19 today.

Patient No. 619 is a 49-year old male from Purok Kamansi, Brgy. Poblacion.

He had been diagnosed with a heart enlargement. He also had a history of difficulty breathing 7 months ago.

He had on and off fever beginning February 22 and on February 27, he went to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center for check up and was advised for admission. He was admitted and swabbed on February 28 in Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center due to difficulty breathing. He tested positive of Covid-19 on February 28.

He succumbed to Sudden Cardiac Death Community Acquired Pneumonia Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease Covid-19, Critical on March 2 and which was just reported to our Liloan OpCen.

Following DOH guidelines, he was laid to rest on March 3 at the Liloan Public Cemetery.

Mayor Christina and Congressman Duke Frasco extend their deepest sympathies to the family and call on all Liloanons to pray for all those who have passed away during this pandemic.

We have TEN (10) ACTIVE cases of Covid-19 today.

The list should not be concluded to mean that they have been infected all at the same time since the patients have been tested on various dates and the results have only been forwarded to the Liloan Covid-19 Operations Center today.

Patient No. 640 is a 25-year old male from Purok Camanchiles, Brgy. Poblacion.

He is a utility personnel in our Liloan Birthing Center. He was exposed to different passengers since after his duty, he sidelines as a habal-habal driver.

Last February 26, he went to Eversley Childs Sanitarium to fetch a passenger.

He experienced shortness of breath, colds, occasional cough, loss of sense of smell and taste on February 28. That day he was recorded as a suspect by the Liloan Covid-19 Operations Center and Poblacion BHERT. On March 1, he was swabbed in Liloan Rural Heal Unit and on March 3 he tested positive result of Covid19.

He has symptoms and is now isolated in Poblacion Isolation Center.

Patient No. 641 is a 44-year old female from Purok Mabini , Brgy. Poblacion.

She is a call center agent of a BPO company in Cebu City and started to work from home since last year. She goes out weekly to buy essentials in a mall in Liloan.

She experienced body pains on February 23. She sought consultation on February 26 and was advised for a swab test. She was swabbed on March 1 in the Liloan Rural Health Unit. She was found positive of Covid-19 on March 3.

She is on home isolation with mild symptoms.

Patient No. 642 is an 85-year old female from Purok Bangkoro, Brgy. Poblacion.

She is a direct contact of her granddaughter, Patient No. 590.

Her symptoms started on February 15. She was swabbed on March 1 and tested positive on March 3.

She is on home isolation and has symptoms.

Patient No. 643 is a 33-year old male from Purok Neemtree, Brgy. Poblacion.

He is a jobseeker and he went to Mabolo, Cebu City for a job interview.

On February 21 he started to have cough and colds. After failing to get a swab test last February 26 he went back to DOH Region VII for a swab test on March 1. His test result was released on March 3 which showed that he is positive of Covid19.

He is currently isolated in the Poblacion Isolation Facility with mild symptoms.

Patient No. 644 is a 12-year old female from Purok Gemilina, Brgy. Yati.

She was exposed to parents with a printing press business located in Day-as Sikatuna, Cebu City. She experienced shortness of breath and immediately sought consultation in Eversley Childs Sanitarium and was referred to a Cardiologist in Perpetual Succour Hospital last March 2. She was admitted and swabbed that day and tested positive of Covid-19 on March 3.

She continues to be admitted in Perpetual Succour Hospital and has symptoms.

Patient No. 645 is a 64-year old female from Purok Tambis, Brgy. Yati.

She is a direct contact of Patient No. 625.

She was recorded as Person Under Monitoring by Liloan Covid-19 Operations Center and Yati BHERT on March 1. She was swabbed on March 2 at the Perpetual Succour Hospital because of her exposure to her sister. She tested positive of Covid-19 on March 3.

She has no symptoms and is on home isolation.

Patient No. 646 is a 30-year old female from Purok Tambis, Brgy. Yati.

She is a direct contact of Patient No. 625.

She was recorded as a Person Under Monitoring by Liloan Covid-19 Operations Center and Yati BHERT on March 1. She was swabbed on March 2 at the Perpetual Succour Hospital because of her exposure. She tested positive of Covid-19 on March 3.

She is currently on home isolation and is asymptomatic.

Patient No. 647 is a 52-year old female from Purok Tugas, Brgy. Yati.

She is an employee of a merchandising company in Cebu City. She was exposed to a positive officemate.

She was swabbed on March 1 at Cebu Doctor’s Hospital as required by the company after being exposed to a positive person. On March 3, her test confirmed that she is positive of Covid-19.

She is currently on home isolation and is asymptomatic.

Patient No. 648 is a 24-year old female from Purok Bayabas, Brgy. Yati.

She is a service associate in one of the resorts in Mactan. She goes home daily to Liloan and is also pregnant.

Last February 15 she experienced headache and loose bowel movement which lasted for 5 days. On March 1 after seeking medical consultation, she was admitted and swabbed at Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue. She was found positive on March 2.

She is still in the hospital and has symptoms.

Patient No. 649 is a 26-year old female from Purok Camote, Bonbon, Brgy. Catarman.

She is a billing officer for a private company in Cebu City and was exposed to positive officemate.

Her symptoms started to manifest on February 23 upon the onset of fever. Following company protocol, she was swabbed on March 1 at the Bayanihan Cebu Swabbing Center-DOH. Her test result which showed that she is positive of Covid19 was released on March 3.

She is asymptomatic and is on home isolation.

Patient No. 650 is a 53-year old female from Purok Mahogany, Brgy. Tayud.

She is an employee of a company located in Banilad, Cebu City. She goes home daily to Liloan.

She had colds on February 27 and was swabbed on March 1 at Cebu Doctors Hospital as required by the company. On March her test result yielded positive of Covid19.

She has mild symptoms and is on home isolation.

The Liloan Covid-19 Operations Center is doing the contact tracing of all persons who had direct contact or were exposed to the confirmed cases. Mayor Christina Frasco has ordered that those who have been exposed to all confirmed cases should strictly undergo isolation for 14 days and that all areas or places of residence should be sanitized.

As recent data would show, the Covid-19 virus is still upon us and persons not wearing masks and refusing to observe social distancing and prohibitions on mass gatherings, greatly contribute to the spread of the virus, putting lives at grave risk. For your sake and that of your family, and for our community in Liloan, WEAR A MASK. PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING. DO NOT ENGAGE IN NON-ESSENTIAL TRAVEL. DO NOT ENGAGE IN MASS PUBLIC GATHERINGS.

Several violations of the mandatory face mask and social distancing protocols, and violations of prohibitions on non-essential travel and mass public gatherings have been noted. Mayor Christina Frasco has reiterated her order to the Liloan PNP to strictly implement all health and safety protocols. Violators will be acted upon accordingly.

Since Liloan continues to be in Modified General Community Quarantine, everyone is enjoined to continue to follow the Municipal-wide curfew of 8PM to 5AM, practice social and physical distancing, wear face mask and observe proper hygiene at all times. All forms of mass and social gatherings are still prohibited.
