DOH: 48 cities and towns contributed to 475 new Covid-19 cases in Central Visayas on March 11, 2021

DOH: 34 cities and towns in Cebu, 7 in Negros Oriental, 6 in Bohol and 1 in Siquijor had new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, March 11, 2021:

Highlights:

• Cebu island contributed 448 or 94.32% of the 475 new cases; Bohol had 13 or 2.74%; Negros Oriental had 12 or 2.53%; and Siquijor had 2 or 0.42%
• 6 new deaths, all from Cebu
• Positivity rate was 12.51% (475 positive out of 3,797 swab samples)
• 395 new recoveries
